ANA Museum is the result of a recent convergence of wills, but also of the long and persistent enthusiasm and enormous dedication of a group of people, who are currently the living memory of the first years of Portugal's airport activity.
The collection, of which a small part is now exhibited, was gathered, studied and restored over a period of more than twenty years. Our technical and scientific patrimony bears no match at national level and its historical significance is acknowledged as far as both airport and communications equipments are concerned. Further to this, the collection is supported by a vast documental archive, including 15,000 photographs available for consultation.
Located close to the "Departures" terminal, the ANA Museum is now hosting an exhibition entitled a «Journey in time» "
By creating this public space and sharing our memory, we hope to raise the value of our patrimony and, at the same time provide our customers with an area of leisure and cultural enrichment.
